Brian has been identified as a prophetic teacher and has for many years served the body in the capacity of a teacher of the Word, as part of the five-fold ministry (Ephesians 4:11-12 NLT). His passion is to help everyone on their path to spiritual maturity (Ephesians 4:12-16 NLT) in accordance with the Great Commission of Matthew 28:19-20 – to go and make disciples of all the nations.
The vision of The Voice of One is to assist the broader community of believers by providing scripturally sound and practically helpful teachings on relevant topics, ranging from foundational questions to the ‘meat’ of the Word, to assist everyone to grow in both their faith and in their knowledge and understanding of the Word.
In Acts 17:11 NLT the Lord deemed the believers in Berea to be more open-minded than those in Thessalonica, as they not only eagerly listened to the message brought by the apostles but also searched the Scriptures day after day to see if Paul and Silas were teaching the truth. Everyone is encouraged to do the same; to measure everything said against the written and eternal Word of God – the Bible.
The articles that will be posted on this website will all be based on sound and detailed biblical research backed by years of teaching and preaching experience. Questions and suggestions on the content are welcome, and downloading and sharing the files with others is encouraged. The Bible tells us, as believers, that we are to take the things we have been taught and pass them on to others to help teach them (2 Timothy 2:2 NLT).
Brian has been involved in teaching the Word for many years and is the Academic Dean of Revealed Word Bible College (RWBC), through which he has been awarded a Doctorate in Theology. RWBC is an independent Bible College that is not bound or affiliated to any particular church denomination or group, and through which students can study the Word by correspondence and online (see www.rwbc.co.za).
